“Why not give us a call?”

The club has seen a renaissance over the past three yeas in that new members have been inducted, notably William Mercer, an ex Rotarian who has brought much needed variety with his interminable list of guest speakers. He is also proving to be a fine president and motivator. Two new female members were inducted in February, the first of many it is hoped, amd they too have created a lively atmosphere at weekly meetings.

On the projects front, the club is heavily involved with Mock Interviews; 100 to 150 on one day each year at the local school, Shoe Box church service, Community Carol service, entertainment for the care home residents in a Celebration of V Day party where members presented their version of  Dad's Army.

Down to 10 members at one time, now a projected 15 this year. Rotary in Tyldesley is not dead as one disgruntled councillor would have it.
