Rotaract is an opportunity to...
be part of a fun, dynamic and
unique international organisation for people aged 18-30, offering
a wide range of activities that will enable you to try something
new, whilst having a great time
and meeting others.
Rotaract offers a wide choice of social activities, actively supports
your local community, raises money for charity and gives you the
opportunity to develop your personal skills and gain new life experiences
in the UK and abroad.
There are over 120 clubs in Great Britain and Ireland, and more
than 6,000 in the whole world. Each club organises its own social
activities, which could just be a trip down the pub, ten-pin bowling,
or maybe a meal, a theatre trip, or even a holiday abroad.
Rotaractors also make a difference in their local community, including
raising funds for charities, and activities such as gardening,
marshalling or helping the elderly.
In many of the larger districts, joint events are held with other
neighbouring clubs most weekends. This can be a quiz night or a
sports event. Some national Rotaract events are also organised.
There are currently about 1,200 Rotaractors in Great Britain and
Ireland, giving members the opportunity to meet lots of new people.
