Our District 1280 GSE selection committee wishes to begin the
selection process for our District Team Leader for the GSE
to District 2241 ( Romania and Republic of Moldova) in May
2009. Will you please bring this to the attention of all
of your Club Members as soon as possible for me?
The District
2241 team will be here in our District between 4th.October
- 1st November 2008 and it would be an ideal opportunity
for our Team Leader to meet and discuss arrangements with
the District 2241 Team Leader and Team Members
The Team Leader application form can

on the RI website (see link on the right). The form , OR AN INDICATION THAT
THE FORM IS TO BE SENT,
should be sent to me by Friday 19th.September
2008 .

and Responsibilities of a Team Leader together with
a host of background
information is also to be found on the RI GSE web page . I have also
circulated this information to all Club Presidents.
Team Members: once we have selected the Team Leader
, all Clubs will be asked to submit nominations for Team Members. Our team
will be a vocational team comprising members of the performing arts. Please
do all that you can to support this wonderful programme of Rotary International.

Group Study Exchange (GSE) programme is a unique cultural and
vocational exchange opportunity for young business and professional
men and women in the early stages of their careers. The programme
is designed to develop professional and leadership skills among
young adults to better prepare them to address the needs of their
communities and an increasingly global workplace.
