 The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. The Rotary Foundation is supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share the same vision of a better world through local, national, and international humanitarian, educational, and cultural programmes.
The Rotary Foundation is Rotary's own charity and relies on the enthusiastic support of clubs and individual Rotarians giving generously of their time in the formulation of humanitarian projects and activities, or in the support of the educational programmes. Rotary touches the lives of millions of people worldwide and Rotarians can be proud of what has been achieved over the past 90 years of Foundation activity.
