The committee will give help and guidance to enable all Rotarians
to identify and address the needs of the local community using
their personal and vocational skills and abilities. The committee
will Inform, Encourage, Motivate, Stimulate and Create Awareness
and Promote Awareness.

Aims and Objectives
All community and vocational service is an opportunity to raise
the awareness of the Rotary Club and the wider work of Rotary.
The objective is to give help and guidance to enable all Rotarians
to identify and address the needs of their local community using
their personal, vocational skills and abilities.
Information for clubs who would interested in adding
their club
project to the RIBI Project Library
A resolution of the General Council in the Rotary Year 2001/2002
defined criteria for the Project Library.
The Association shall utilise the following criteria for the assessment
of entries into the RIBI library.
For consideration the inclusion into the Project Library a new
project should be able to show the majority of the following:
- Have a Club support and indicate support given
- Have District support – preferably from 2 Districts
- Have written support from a District
- Be current
- Be effective
- Be financially viable
- Not necessarily be pure fundraising
- Have a measurable means to identify Rotary involvement
- Acknowledge how Rotary will be recognised
- Provide an annual report and accounts
Please note that once entry into the Opportunities to Serve project
library is for one year only and subject to annual review. |
